Rishi Kumar, the founder of "Saratoga's Got Talent" and "Silicon Valley's Got Talent", works in Silicon Valley high-tech. Rishi supplements his high-tech background with in-depth knowledge of media along with strong management skills and an innovative vision.
Rishi has emerged as a pioneer in media production and management in the Silicon Valley. Rishi develops and promotes talent, along with subjects of interest for the international diaspora such as entertainment, art and performance events.
Rishi's first production venture was as as Co-Chair of TiECon 2007 leading the TiECon 2007 team in rolling out a very successful "TiEcon Live 2007" production that included the interviews of Meg Whitman, Marc Benioff.
Rishi's forray into high tech, strangely led him to discover his calling in Arts & Entertainment. After running and hosting a series of quarterly"Wine and Cheese Karaoke" gatherings, and monthly "Saratoga Village Karaoke" events, Rishi launched "Silicon Valley's Got Talent" in the summer of 2011; followed by the successful TV Show "Silicon Valley's Got Talent" in January of 2012
Rishi also functions as the host/ Emcee of "Silicon Valley's Got Talent" monthly event and TV show.
Rishi has discovered a creative streak to his geekiness, but has combined the strong process skills based on his Engineering/ Technology heritage, along with strong social media skills, in integrating and bringing together a community and creating value propositions at various levels and for various segments of Silicon Valley's demographics.
As a community volunteer, former planning commissioner, founder of a non-profit "Saratoga Cares Foundation" Rishi is heavily invested in the success of the local community. Rishi continues to work in the Valley tech industry in software sales.
