BLUE ROCK SHOOT SETUP

SeTUP
- Lift stage board (from rhs), bring out the mic stand, sound board and the suit case with the mics, cables etc
- place the sound board on the table
- Turn on power behind the piano
- slide the piano out (so folks can play it)
- attach sound board cables (see picture below). the sub-woofer goes into the aux1
- Install mic stands & Mics - cables connected to sound board
- setup & CONFIGURE sound board
- MIC TEST


DISMANTLE
Let the CD music play (disconnect the sound board last)
Put the mic stands under the stage
loop all cables (avoid crimping)
Place everything in the suitcase
place suitcase under the stage
place sound board under stage
disconnect the plug next to the piano

ensure stage lights are off
ensure that motor is not running, ball placed in the basement

Ensure that parts have not been left in the open
ENSURE RED switch off in the cabinet

TERMINOLOGIES
PHantom power (+48V) - if mics / anything else need power
condensor mic - needs phantom power (inside the piano is a condensor mic)
Dynamic Mics - Standard
Dirty power vs conditioned power

SOUND BOARD STUFF
GAINS - input from a particular device
PAN (for L &R) - move to extreme left and extreme right to get stereo
pad - if something plays hot, hit pad to reduce by 20db
keep sliders around zero db
When talking keep reverb on (YELLOW), when singing reverb off
you only need reverb on mics & instruments

1 though 6 - Microphones
7 through 9 - Guitar
12 - Piano
Aux - SubWoofer
